This weekend, Phil, Luke, and I traveled up to Phoenix to surprise my dad for his birthday. We went to the park, where Luke loved playing with Poppa, and then we went over to Angie's for a "Hot Wheels" themed B-day lunch. Angie ordered a yummy race-track chocolate cake from Super Target (they make cakes?!) and we played MarioKart. It was great to spend family time with Shawn, Angie, Shelby, mom, and dad.
When Poppa asked Luke to smile to take his picture, he DID! It was a combination of a fake grimace and a giggle, but it sure was adorable!
